The County Fair is still a big deal in small, rural comm- unities throughout the Southeast. In our county, we celebrate the county fair during the first and second weeks of October. Just for fun, I waited until AFTER the sun set to take a few pictures this year. [The child shown is my youngest daughter.]For the record, I struggle with shooting photos that require a flash. Somehow, the lighting is always too sharp and red eye (even though turned on in the camera) seems to occur constantly. Oh well... learning is a process.
